Short description
Ex-con Zeki Müller goes undercover as a teacher at a below average Gymnasium to find money he'd stashed prior to incarceration.
What's left behind the scenes
- Lisi learns that Zeki forged his diploma and is not a real teacher by finding his personnel file in the principal's office. In Germany, teachers' personnel files are not kept in schools, but in the Ministry of Education.
- When Zeki shoots one girl in the forehead and another in the throat with a paintball gun, there is no sign that they are in pain. A hit from such a gun would cause significant pain.
- The phrase “Ein Herz für Lehrer” (“A Heart for Teachers”) is written on Mrs. Gerschter’s coffee mug. This is a reference to a children's aid agency called Ein Herz für Kinder (“A Heart for Children”).
- The school principal hires Zeki after an interview. This is impossible in Germany, as teachers are hired by the Ministry of Education.
