Short description

A Salem resident attempts to frame her ex-lover's wife for being a witch in the middle of the 1692 witchcraft trials.

What's left behind the scenes

  • An adaptation of the eponymous play by Arthur Miller, based on real events that took place during the Salem witch trials.
  • Daniel Day-Lewis has a habit of continuously remaining in character while filming a project; he even built a house in which he lived as John Proctor.
