Short description
Chev Chelios, a hit man wanting to go straight, lets his latest target slip away. Then he awakes the next morning to a phone call that informs him he has been poisoned and has only an hour to live unless he keeps adrenaline coursing through his body while he searches for an antidote.

- Jason Statham was initially reluctant to accept the role of the main character in this film, mainly because he didn’t think he was funny enough. Directors and screenwriters Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor persuaded the actor to take the role, advising him not to try to be funny and to rely on his own delivery.
