Short description

Franck spends his summer days hopelessly searching for companionship at a popular cruising spot on the shores of a lake in rural France. One day, he meets Michel, an attractive yet darkly mysterious man and falls blindly in love.

What's left behind the scenes

There is not a single interior shot in the entire film, as the storyline unfolds outdoors. According to the director and screenwriter Alain Gerodie, everything takes place in the vicinity of the lake mentioned in the title.
No improvisation was allowed on set. Every scene and its dialogue were filmed exactly as written in the script. Even the erotic scenes were pre-written and rehearsed repeatedly.
