Short description

After her boyfriend commits suicide, a young woman attempts to use the unpublished manuscript of a novel and a sum of money he left behind to reinvent her life.

What's left behind the scenes

The film is based on the book 'Morvern Callar' by Alan Warner, which he wrote in 1995.
When Samantha Morton's character deletes her boyfriend James Gillespie's name as the author of the novel, the name is removed from right to left, but she presses 'Delete' on the keyboard, when logically she should be pressing 'Backspace'.
