Short description
Seven years after the events of the first film, Samantha Darko finds herself stranded in a small desert town after her car breaks down where she is plagued by bizarre visions telling of the universe's end. As a result, she must face her own demons, and in doing so, save the world and herself.
What's left behind the scenes
- In one scene, an explosion occurred too close to Ed Westwick and damaged his eardrum.
- Randy mentions a town called Conejo Springs. "Conejo" translates from Spanish as "rabbit" or "bunny," a reference to Frank, the giant rabbit from the film "Donnie Darko" (Richard Kelly, 2001).
- The film is set in 1995.
- The falling meteors are actually tesseracts, or four-dimensional hypercubes.
- The author of the book "Jesusonomy" is film director Chris Fisher. Initially, he wanted to title the book "Jesusology," but that name was already taken.
