Short description

When LexCorp accidentally unleashes a murderous creature, Superman meets his greatest challenge as a champion. Based on the "The Death of Superman" storyline that appeared in DC Comics' publications in the 1990s.

What's left behind the scenes

The Fortress of Solitude features various items from past Superman cartoons: the anti-kryptonite suit, the spacesuit and rocket from 'Superman' (1996-2000); the bulletproof car from 'The Adventures of Superman' (1942); and robots from 'Mechanical Monsters' (1941). You can also spot the Bottle City of Kandor and Brainiac's head in the Fortress.
The character of Mercy first appeared in the animated series "Superman" (1996-2000) as Lex Luthor's driver/bodyguard. In this film, she is a corporate assistant.
