Short description

Explores the Spanish origins of the character's story, where he is a tuberculosis patient from Almeria who will do anything to get well, even consuming the blood of the kids he kidnaps in a sack.

What's left behind the scenes

The film is inspired by a Spanish legend about a man with a sack, which is based on a real crime. In 1910, Francisco Leona, a shaman from Gádor, kidnapped a 7-year-old boy to use his blood, fat, and omentum to treat a man suffering from tuberculosis.
