Short description

The action continues from [REC], with the medical officer and a SWAT team outfitted with video cameras are sent into the sealed off apartment to control the situation.

What's left behind the scenes

As with the original film, all scenes of the movie were filmed in one of the districts of Barcelona.
The roles of special forces, police officers, and bystanders near the building were played not by actors, but by ordinary people.
Many of the zombie screams were added during post-production. The screams during filming would have drowned out all dialogue and conversations, so they were simply dubbed in later.
The sound of helicopter blades and engines was added separately because renting real helicopters would have been too expensive.
The actors playing special forces personnel had a special training day where they were taught how to handle weapons.
The actors portraying special forces personnel filmed a large amount of footage using cameras mounted on their helmets.
Due to the temperature difference with the surface during filming in the sewers, the camera lenses fogged up immediately.
