Short description
Robbie is a Glasgow boy locked in a family feud who just wants a way out. On community service, he meets Rhino, Albert and Mo. Little did Robbie imagine that turning to drink might change their lives, leading them to the distilleries of the Scottish Highlands and the biggest gamble of his life.

- Paul Brannigan's acting debut. Like his character, Brannigan served time in prison. He met screenwriter Paul Laverty when Laverty visited various youth centers in Scotland to get to know the younger generation better.
- The film's title refers to an expression meaning the loss of some whiskey during the maturation process.
