What's left behind the scenes

  • According to Damien Leone, after the unexpected financial success of the horror film 'Terrifier 2,' several major studios approached him, wanting to finance a third installment. He turned them all down, as he believed studio bosses wouldn't let him make the film the way he wanted, especially the opening scene.
  • Damien Leone said in an interview that 5-10 people worked with him on the first two films. During the filming of the third part, 50 people were constantly present on the set.
  • Damien Leone mentioned in an interview that it took 6 years to create the film "Terrifier 2" because he and producer Phil Falcone had to do absolutely everything themselves, and when they started the project, they had no idea how much work lay ahead. When it came to the third installment, the film had to be made in a year.
  • The film concludes with a depiction of a torture method used in Europe during the Middle Ages.
