Short description
In a remote Irish village, a damaged Finbar is forced to fight for redemption after a lifetime of sins, but what price is he willing to pay? In the land of saints and sinners, some sins can't be buried.

- When Finbar and Curtis (played by Liam Neeson and Desmond Eastwood, respectively) are driving in a car, the conversation turns to the Fomorians. This is a race of supernatural creatures from Irish mythology. They were originally said to have come from under the seabed or from under the earth, and later were depicted as sea robbers and giants. They are considered to have been the first inhabitants of Ireland, but then they were defeated in a war with another race of supernatural creatures called the Tuatha Dé Danann.
- Director Robert Lorenz is originally from the United States, but he decided to make the film as Irish as possible, so the film's creative team and the actors involved are exclusively of Irish origin.
