Short description
A man goes undercover in a hi-tech prison to find out information to help prosecute those who killed his wife. While there, he stumbles onto a plot involving a death-row inmate and his $200 million stash of gold.
What's left behind the scenes
- In an article for the German publication Berliner Kurier, Wolfgang Lindner recalls Steven Seagal's strange behavior on set. The actor was constantly accompanied by a Buddhist advisor, whose opinion on Seagal's karmic state was a sufficient reason for him to halt filming for the day.
- The film was originally titled “Lockdown”, but Sony decided to rename it to avoid confusion with a film of the same name released in 2002.
- Some aerial shots were taken from filmed but unused scenes from 'The Rock'.
