Short description
After their car breaks down, a couple driving cross-country to begin a new life in the Pacific Northwest is forced to spend the night in a secluded rental, where they are terrorized from dusk till dawn by three masked strangers.
What's left behind the scenes
- The film's original script consisted of 280 pages and was eventually divided into three parts.
- Renni Harlin filmed all three films in the trilogy simultaneously. According to the producers, scenes with the main cast for the first film were shot in the morning, and scenes for the second film – after lunch. The film crew had to constantly move between different locations throughout the day, as required by the script.
